Yes, that's right folks. Our ever vigilant Prime Minister KRudd has deemed it necessary, despite mass industry and public disapproval, that Australians need the internet censored under the guise of protecting our children. Apparently we can't be trusted to use any of the optional, and even government assisted, schemes already in place. We will have NO choice.

The public will have no say in what is and what is not censored. A publicly leaked preliminary list was found to have contained many banned sites that were perfectly harmless or had nothing to do with protecting children as claimed. Major ISP's involved in testing have slammed it as totally unworkable and easily circumvented but Nanny KRudd still claims to know best.

...and it doesn't stop there.

Australian Police have also written to publicans asking them not to sell full strength alcoholic beverages before 2pm on Australia Day (Jan. 26th)! Now that's just downright bloody unAustralian!!

I'm therefore imposing another blackout of my own. I reckon if I stay pissed all week I should blackout, no worries!!
